Milandra is a Melbourne-based singer, songwriter, actor, and creative force known for her raw honesty and soulful blend of pop, rock, folk, and 80s-inspired sounds. She weaves personal experiences into emotionally charged music and striking visual storytelling.
Drawing inspiration from icons like Madonna, Annie Lennox, and Lesley Gore, Milandra's music reflects her theatrical roots, powerful stage presence, and commitment to truth-telling. From early training in ballet and musical theatre to studying acting at VCA and fronting bands, her journey is one of relentless creativity, reinvention, and resilience.
She began songwriting in her 20s — before Instagram Reels or social media — driving hours to collaborate with Nick Carrafa and Dice Gamble in the studio. These passion-driven sessions, untouched by likes or follows, shaped her fearless, emotionally rich writing style.
